Laytastic Service Review

Created by Jon Roberts, Laytastic Service is a horse racing tipster service that provides free selections for backing on a lay basis.

What is the product?

Laytastic Service is a tipster service that operates through a members only website. All of the selections are loaded directly to their where you can view them. This brings me to a side note on the real intention of Laytastic Service. The member’s site is actually part of a larger tipster stable with a number of different services available but we shall overlook this for now. In terms of the service, there are varying amounts of selections made available each day all of which are lay bets so an account through some kind of betting exchange would be required (with Betfair being the most well known example). In terms of the selection process for Laytastic Service, Jon Roberts makes no explanation as to the methods behind it. This is rather problematic for me as Laytastic Service has a strike rate of 84% which for a lay betting service is somewhat subpar.

What is the investment vs. the rate of return?

Arguably the strongest point of Laytastic Service is the price as the service is actually free. This is however restricted to a limited number of subscribers so it’s worth getting into this while you can. In terms of earnings, Jon Roberts claims that Laytastic Service has achieved a profit of £12,000 since March 2013. Although stakes and risk aren’t discussed, Laytastic Service typically seems to aim to make 1 point of profit per race (0.95 after Betfair commission).

Does the product provide value for money?

Given the fact that it is free and Laytastic Service has produced a reasonable profit, I can only conclude that it does represent decent value.

Conclusion

I will start with the biggest downside to Laytastic Service which us the liabilities. To achieve the profits that are advertised you need to put a significant amount of money on the table. This has left losses of well over one thousand pounds at a go. As well as creating a need for a huge betting bank this also shows how easy it is for your profits to be decimated. Whilst you aren’t paying for this I am not entirely certain I would recommend it. In fact, if Laytastic Service weren’t free there wouldn’t be a discussion to be had, but if you are looking for a lay betting system to use on the cheap then Laytastic Service might be what you are looking for.
