Early Warning System Review Guy Cohen

Created by Guy Cohen, Early Warning System is a Forex trading system that allows you to copy his advice and make what he calls quake trades for massive profits.

What is the product?

Access to Early Warning System is handled via a private member’s site where Guy Cohen actually hosts the system. The system itself is rather interesting to read about with the many comparisons to earthquakes (a crude metaphor at best) however there are questions as to whether or not it actually has any real depth. For example at the core of Early Warning System is the notion of P-Waves and S-Waves (primary and secondary) which on an earthquake are tiny tremors that notify you before the main quake hits. Guy Cohen claims to have found a similar pattern in trading which means that he can identify when an upswing is going to happen before it does with Early Warning System allegedly using “1 billion “ individual pieces of data which are converted into the alerts that he sends out.

The Big Drop Review Jim Rickards

Written by Jim Rickards in conjunction with David Stevenson of Agora Lifestyles (who are also the publisher), The Big Drop explores the economic future of Britain and relevant investments.

What is the product?

The Big Drop is a follow up book by well known author and global finance expert Jim Rickards. The book is something of a follow up to his previous best sellers, Currency Wars and The Death of Money, both of which provided a look into a possible economic future. The Big Drop also explores this but the focus is more on Britain as opposed to the United States. The focus is on an upcoming event that could destabilise the pound and how this would have an impact on British financial markets. To be fair to Jim Rickards, all of this is an interesting proposition and it is clear that this is a topic that he knows well and is well researched. Read more

The Market Matrix Review Steve Copan

Created by Steve Copan, The Market Matrix is a trading product that teaches you how to predict marketing movements by using Matrix Cycles.

What is the product?

The Market Matrix comes as a 138 page guide which over the course of 8 chapters, Steve Copan shows you his method of trading and what it entails. The Market Matrix is also fully illustrated providing charts and the like where required. The core of The Market Matrix is obviously dedicated to what is involved and it covers this in considerable detail. There are also chapters that are dedicated to similar theories that The Market Matrix seems to draw on (for example Elliott Waves and Fibonacci sequences which both explore patterns and cycles relating to inversion points in trading). The Market Matrix is clearly influenced from a number of different sources but one of the main ones is Delta in so much as the both say that Lunar cycles make up a big part of successful trading as well as looking at calendar weeks instead of just working weeks. Through application of what The Market Matrix teaches you, Steve Copan says that you should be able to identify when market inversions will occur and as such, you can make the relevant trades. The Market Matrix is claimed to be able to work on any timeframe as well as any currency pair (and presumably commodity). Read more

The Delta Phenomenon Review Jim Sloman

Created by Jim Sloman and sold by Welles Wilder, The Delta Phenomenon is a trading strategy that can allegedly predict movements in the market for many years in advance.

What is the product?

The Delta Phenomenon is not anything new and has been sold in the US since the 80’s in a number of different guises. The patterns were allegedly identified by one Jim Sloman who then sold them on to Welles Wilder, a purveyor of trading strategies at the time. Agora Lifestyles are now offering The Delta Phenomenon in the UK (allegedly having “managed” to get hold of 250 copies of the book following a top secret leak). The Delta Phenomenon is based on the idea that all markets follow certain trends that repeat on intermediate and long term forecasts. By identifying these “Delta” patterns you can see when turning points will occur and trade based on this information. Whilst this sounds rational enough, The Delta Phenomenon then goes on to talk about how other factors such as the moon and rotation of the earth on its axis. Welles Wilder claims that the patterns that The Delta Phenomenon  helps you to identify are so predictable you can chart them on a calendar. Read more

The Syndicate Review Matt Houghton, Karl Zanft and Miles Tredwell

Provided by Matt Houghton, Karl Zanft and Miles Tredwell through Agora Lifestyles, The Syndicate is a specialist horse racing tipster service.

What is the product?

The Syndicate is a horse racing tipster service that unlike the majority of offerings uses a number of different experts to identify selections from their own niche. The Syndicate  team is made up of Matt Houghton, Karl Zanft and Miles Tredwell who between them offer advice on flat, hunt and year round bets with up to 10 selections being made available per day. The selection process for The Syndicate is obviously based on the knowledge of the team of experts however Matt Houghton, Karl Zanft and Miles Tredwell all say that they use their own methods of assessing and analysing the data for upcoming races. This means that you may not necessarily get bets for every race on a given day. The Syndicate’s bets are generally win although there seems to be the possibility of each way bets also being utilised.  In terms of numbers, Agora Lifestyles have failed to supply anything tangible with no strike rate available and no sign of any proofing, something that you would expect to be in place on a tipster service. Place Master Review

Created by Karl Zanft, Place Master was the winning system in Matt Houghton’s T-Factor, a competition to find the top unknown tipster in Britain.

What is the product?

Place Master is a tipping system users can subscribe to. Each day subscribers will receive 6-7 selections as made by Karl Zanft. Along with the selections will be details on staking that allegedly helps maximise profit whilst minimising loss. Place Master seems to be based on a combination of experience as a bettor and form analysis. Unfortunately there is a lack of further information available on how the system works. Read more
