Created by Mark Filsaime and Andy Jerkins, Traffic Genesis is a product that shows users how to increase traffic with a focus on using Facebook.
What is the product?
Traffic Genesis offers a substantial amount of training, most of which is generally of a very high standard. It is the subject of the majority of this training that I am less favourable towards. Mark Filsaime and Andy Jerkins have put a very clear emphasis on using Facebook marketing to drive traffic to your website. In fact they spend a significant chunk of the sales video telling you how they will teach you how to target different groups, demographics and a plethora of other customisable details. Traffic Genesis claims that not just will it show you how to apply these things to Facebook, but also how to apply them to other methods of generating traffic. As well as this core training Traffic Genesis comes with eight weeks of coaching from Mark Filsaime and Andy Jerkins and 12 months of future updates to Traffic Genesis.
What is the investment vs. the rate of return?
Traffic Genesis is available in 3 different packages, none of which are cheap. The first is an option to not pay anything for the first 6 months after which you have to pay $997. The second option is to just outright pay $997. Finally you can pay 3 instalments of $377 making a total of $1131. Fortunately each of these options comes with a 30 day money back guarantee. In terms of how much you can make, the claims are incredible with Mike Filsaime and Andy Jerkins claiming to have launched 6 figure campaigns however I am not sold on this at all.
Does the product provide value for money?
All things considered I don’t believe that Traffic Genesis does provide value for money.
Launching a Facebook advertising campaign isn’t rocket science. In fact, Facebook make it very easy for you to do this with quite a simple layout. This leaves me questioning why you would want to spend nigh on $1,000 for somebody to tell you what to do. Whilst I don’t doubt that there is some value in Traffic Genesis, I just don’t see there being THAT much value.
Personally I’d give this a miss in favour of a number of free tutorials that will more likely than not cover similar information.
